Opening to a Thriller - Sound+Lighting

The sound in my film has been altered to a great degree to make for a more professional final cut. Certain segments of sound have been separated from their footage or even deleted. Some parts were too loud yet still vital to the product, so have been lowered in volume. Transitions between shots have had a fade added to make the sound cut less abrupt. Some parts have been reduced to silence so emphasize action or music. The door shots use the same slamming sound to provide a consistent and repeating effect. Caesar's screamw as extended artificially to promote fear. The music was selected for its ambient tone and hinderance of any loss of tension.

Lighting was at first a problem on the first few shoots, as we could not film too late in the day. We used natural light to our advantage and shot the below par segments again. Most of the film is undergone in natural light as it is out in the open. The only artificial light is within Jason's home. The light from the candle is incredibly atmospheric, but had to be cut down in fear of becoming too much like a horror movie.
